Mr. Francis Olugbenga Shobo, FCA, the Chairman of PayAttitude Global is also the Deputy Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria Limited.

At present, Gbenga is the Executive Director overseeing the Retail and Public Sector business of First Bank in Lagos and West Directorate. Preceding this, he was in charge of the Retail Banking South Directorate, first as Executive Vice President and then as Executive Director. He was appointed to the Board of FirstBank in 2012.

Gbenga joined FirstBank in 2006 and has worked in various divisions of the Bank. He was the General Manager in charge of the Products & Channels Group; Business Development Manager in charge of the Bank’s Retail/Commercial Banking activities in its Rivers and Bayelsa States Region; and also held the position of Group Head, National Corporates in the Corporate Banking Strategic Business Unit.

Before joining the FirstBank family, he worked as a General Manager in charge of Corporate/Commercial Banking of FBN (Merchant Bankers) Limited and as the Divisional Head, Corporate Banking Division of MBC International Bank Limited.

Gbenga has garnered over 29 years’ work experience from reputable organizations out of which he has spent more than 25 years in the Banking Industry. He started his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants as an External Auditor and Tax Consultant and further honed his skills in the Banking Industry, reputably in Credit & Relationship Management; Business Development; Service Excellence; Products Development & Improvement; Product Sales; Segment Penetration; Operational Management, Development and Implementation of Marketing Strategies; amongst others.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and is an Alumni of Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School. Gbenga also has a B.Sc. Degree in Political Science from the University of Ife. In addition, he has attended various courses and programmes in top-rated business schools including The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and Stanford University. 

He is the first person to be appointed to the position of a Deputy Managing Director of FirstBank in the Bank’s history, a testament to his commitment and professionalism. He is happily married with children and loves reading, playing golf and tennis.


Victor Etuokwu is an Executive Director of Access Bank Plc and represents the bank on the board of PayAttitude Global Limited. He has about 20 years’ banking experience cutting across banking operations and information technology, internal control, general administration, retail banking, business acquisition and integration

He joined Access Bank in July 2003 from Citibank Nigeria and was promoted to General Manager in February 2008. He has served the Bank in different capacities, leading several successful and critically important projects across the Bank. The latest of such projects was the acquisition of controlling equity interest in Intercontinental Bank Plc and the subsequent merger of both banks

Mr. Etuokwu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Ibadan and University of Benin respectively. He is a Senior Honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.


Chukwuma Nweke is an Executive Director of United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) and represents UBA on the Board of Directors of PayAttitude Global Limited.

Currently the Head of Operations and Information Technology of UBA, he is an accounting graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (best graduating student) and holds an MBA from the same university.

Chuks is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has over 25 years of banking experience.


Innocent Ike is an Executive Director of Skye Bank Plc (the Bank) and represents the Bank on the Board of Directors of PayAttitude Global Limited

Innocent Ike has over twenty-two years of successful professional banking experience acquired from leading Nigerian banks, mainly Access Bank Plc., GTBank Plc., and Keystone Bank, where he played very strategic roles in these institutions..

He was an Executive Director with Keystone Bank and has also worked as a General Manager in Access Bank Plc. As Group Head, Corporate, Institutional and Commercial Banking Divisions, Innocent Ike successfully developed and managed several high profile relationships with financial institutions, corporate and public sector clients in Lagos, Abuja and South-South regions.

Prior to joining Access Bank Plc., he worked in erstwhile Fortune international Bank Plc., and GTBank Plc., where he played several key roles in Commercial Banking, Treasury and Currency Trading as well as Operations and Technology Divisions. He also had valuable experience in Corporate Finance and Risk Management.

He started his professional career as a Senior Associate with Akintola Williams Deloitte, Nigeria before joining GTBank. Whilst at the accounting firm, he worked in the Audit, Consulting and Financial Advisory Divisions and was responsible for handling several key assignments.

Innocent obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, where he was the Best Graduating Student in 1988. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

He has attended several professional, management and leadership programs in world class institutions including Harvard Business School, International Management Development Institute (IMD) Switzerland, Euromoney London and Covey Leadership Centre.


Agada Apochi is the Managing Director/CEO of Unified Payment Services Limited (Unified Payments®) which is a leading payments service provider owned by a consortium of leading Nigerian banks. He represents Unified Payments on the Board of PayAttitude Global Ltd

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director/CEO, he worked in Unified Payments in different capacities including Executive Director, Group Head Corporate Services, General Counsel and Company Secretary. As Executive Director, he had direct executive responsibility for driving the strategy and growth initiatives of the Company. He worked previously with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and Fidelity Bank Plc (formerly FSB International Bank Plc).

Agada played leading roles in the strategic initiatives and execution of different achievements and contributions of Unified Payments to the payments industry in Nigeria including (i) Pioneering the issuance and acceptance of EMV Chip+PIN cards at PoS terminals and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in Nigeria leading to reduction of ATM fraud in Nigeria by over 95% (ii) Enabled Nigerian banks to issue first-ever payment cards to Naira accountholders to be used globally (iii) First Nigerian Principal Member of a global payment scheme and the only Nigerian non-bank Principal Member (iv) Joint Acquiring company for Nigerian banks (v) First Processor and Acquirer to deploy contactless payment solutions using NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology.

Agada is an alumnus of Cornell University where he obtained his certificates in (i) High Performance Leadership (ii) Change Leadership; and (ii) Leading Execution. He also attended Lagos Business School where he completed his Advance Management Program (AMP), Bank Card Business School in Cambridge and the University of Jos where he obtained his LL.B with several academic honors and awards including University Prize for Best Graduating Student. Agada has also attended different executive programs at Harvard Business School and Insead Business School. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 after his qualification as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

A Certified International Cards & Payments Professional (CICPP) and Fellow, International Academy of Cards & Payments, Agada is also a Chartered Mediator & Conciliator, Barrister & Solicitor, member of Institute of Directors (IoD) and International Bar Association.


Babatunde is the Executive Director, Marketing and Sales of Unified Payments and represents Unified Payments on the Board of PayAttitude Global Ltd. Prior to becoming a member of the Unified Payment Services Limited family.

Babatunde worked in different institutions including Citibank Nigeria and UBA Plc where he was General Manager and Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the group with branches in 17 African Countries.

Babatunde is an accomplished, result-oriented backend operation and Information Technology expert with a rich experience in Operations, Technology Infrastructure management, Information Security, Project Management, Service Delivery and Banking Application transformation.

Early background in the Full Suites operations of an investment/retail bank, with various responsibilities in transaction services, Customer services, Group shared services and treasury operations provides him with a unique in-depth understanding of customer/end-user requirements and expectations. Babatunde is a fellow, International Academy of Cards & Payments, alumnus of Lagos Business School where he completed his Advance Management Programme (AMP), An alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University (B.Sc.), University of Lagos (MBA), certified engineer by the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Babatunde is also a Member of the American Society for Industrial Security, Nigeria Computer Society and International Facility Management Association.
